SEA
CANOEING OR KAYAKING
Sea Canoe
takes you in inflatable sea kayaks inside and around some of the world's most stunning
limestone formations that jut vertically out of the sea for up to several hundred feet.
Called karsts, they dot the area in great array around Phuket, Phang-Nga and Krabi
provinces. The Sea Canoe "Easy
Self-Paddle Level" trips will enable you to effortlessly paddle right up to these
weathered rock formations colourfully streaked with hues of black, tan, ivory, grey and
red. At just the right tide you will also be able to enter inside through tunnels and
discover a magic wonderland; looking up you will see an untouched habitat where Sea eagles
and Bramany Kites fly whilst monkeys play among the orchids, rare palms and other unique
flora .
At Krabi other canoeing activity options include exploration of a chain of rock gardens
and semi-Hong's filled with mangroves. After the morning mangrove paddle, lunch is served
before taking on the "Krabi Klong", a tidal ravine that splits the island,
before finally returning to the Talin pier.
