 From Ao Nang beach,
tourists may hire boats to visit nearby attractions such as Hat Rai Lay, Tham Phra Nang,
Sa Phranang located on land to the east of Ao Nang beach, which are ideal sites for
swimming, snorkeling or scuba-diving.
The white sands, rock formations, islets, coral reefs, limestone caves and clear waters of
the Ao Nang beach does wonders in revitalizing the tired & much stressed tourists.

swimming... Ao Nang beach is thus a dream come true for every nature lover, who craves for
the exotic richness of the nature.

AO NANG about 20 km
W from Krabi, is a relaxing tourist resort. Though the beach isn't quite as impressive as
nearby Rai Ley or Ko Phi Phi's, the Chinese-painting-style (Keirin) limestone scenery is
just as spectacular and it has more facilities. It's a good base for visiting Rai Lai
beach and sights in the vicinity.

choice of budget accommodation than Rai Ley. However still over priced. Day trips to Rai
Ley possible.
Basically 2 areas for budget accommodation, before Aonang beach road and after the beach
road. Very few budget rooms on the beach road.
The songthaws from Krabi take you to the middle of the village, E side end of the beach
road.
